Application Tips

PREP: Carefully place curler as close to upper lid as possible, centering lashes between curved sections. CURL: Close handles slowly and squeeze tightly for 10-20 seconds; open handles and release lashes. To maximize fullness, separate lashes with a lash comb before curling. CARE: Keep clean for good hygiene—wipe pad after each use. Once a week, wash in soap and water and air dry.

A very good eyelash curler, it worked well on the first trial itself. First time I am suing a curler for eyelashes. I have one for my hair extensions . Sadly it’s not mine, just borrowed it from one of my friend for doing some makeup to attend a marriage function. Anyway it worked wonders. I have a long eye lashes and it looks good in straight, but I was looking for a change this time, as it was a special occasion for me, marriage of some one very close.

This curler ruined my eyelashes upon first use (I use a curler every day and this has never happened). It also made my eyelashes uneven, messy, clumpy and started to pull them out. The rubber pad doesn't fit in the curler and falls out immediately every time. I'm returning it today. (I bought it because it looked pretty). Usually I like Sally Hansen products. Do not buy this.

My complaint is that the rubber pad doesn't last very long and although it comes with one refill, you cannot buy a separate pack of refills. What is one supposed to do? Throw away a perfectly good eyelash curler once the pads are both dead? That seems like such a waste!

I love this curler! I've been using it every single day for months now and my curl lasts all day long. It's amazing how curled my lashes get, they almost touch my eyebrows! When I'm done using it, I usually throw it right back into my makeup drawer & don't handle it with extreme care, so before I use it I definitely make sure to press the rubber pad in to make sure it's secure. Love it!

Do not buy this curler!! It is horrible! The rubber curler comes out easily. It also pulls and tugs on lashes. It does not curl lashes at all. Instead it is painful, causes eyes to tear up and pulls out lashes.

Some Consumer info- For years I have worn makeup. Since I was 15 and I'm in my 20's now. I'm also am trained and lisenced cosmetologist & a certified and multi-state lisenced Medical Aesthetican (Skin care). I was trained to use these tools not once or twice but several times from many schools.
I purchased this curler 2 months ago. It did a good job. Now this morning of Sep. 27th 2011 I'm getting ready before my university classes, apply the curler to my right top eye lash and the white outer handle part that where you place your ring or middle finger in-that presses up the clamp mechanism, explodes off the main piece while placed on my eyelid and lashes, ripping off 3/4 of my lashes! I am SO furious and upset! I lost my right sides eyelashes and now look ill and deformed without them. Never in 7 years of curling my lashes with also many other brands has this happened. I want to cry.This infliction due to this crappy piece of shit curler has sent me in an emotional uproar. AND I WILL BE HEARD. I have no choice but to hope that my lashes will grow all back to once they once were. I pray to god! I am also scared. I may never again curler my lashes in total fear that this would happen again! I really am considering suing over this incident. I would NOT recommend this product AT ALL! and if you already have purchased them, give them to your worst enemy as a gift. I have read other reviews on this page, which I am not the only one who purchased some faulty eye lash curlers from Sally Hansen. Once again, DO NOT USE! I plan on doing a video review on Youtube as well so look that up. If Sally Hansen cares of the consumers, I want to hear or read it from them (you have my email and address). I want an apology.

Ive never wrote a review before but I wanted to send out a warning just in case ! I just sent coty a message to notify the company on this product. I just bought it...only used it a few times and just had the top metal peice crack off while it was on my eye!!! just a few minutes ago !!! Scared the living crap out of me !! it looks as though one of the holes to hold the metal peice on was cut out too close to the edge ! Man ! if that hit me in the eyeball I wouldve died ! it just hit my lid. Thank God ! So scary ! and sure it may work good like the reviews above but Im not risking it again with this product ! Its weird I had one for a billion years and misplaced it ...so I bought this one and it breaks after a few uses ! Scary !!!

This is the worst curler ever! I switched from maybeiline and boy am i sorry i did.. It actually deestroyed myy llashes . teh pad slips and pulls them and cut off some ot them.. Obviously you have a product problem.. I have never gone to a site and seen such negative responses. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO SALLY HANSEN?

Do not buy this product!! It is horrible. After 3 uses the glue on the front handle/lever came undone and the curler popped up and hit me in the eye. My eye was swollen and blurry for 2 days.

I love this curler! I have long, straight-as-a-board lashes. I have tried all sorts of curlers and the curl only lasts about 5 minutes. This curler keeps them curled all day for me and is super comfortable to use.

Love the curler, but WHY don't you sell the pads separately ? Do you expect us to purchase a new curler when the pads split- and they split because I have had to use it for two years while looking in vain for replacement pads!

I LOVE IT!!!! It curls my eyelashes just fine. It grabs all my eyelashes. My daughter which hardly ever uses an eyelash curler, loves it also. The only problem I have is I do not know where to get extra pads for it. I highly recommend it.

I would rate this zero stars. It is the worst eye lash curler I have every used. It's biggest problem is that the inside rubber part of the curler sticks out too far and pokes me in the eye before I can get it near enough to my lashes to curl them. It is not wide enough and all my eyelashes do not fit and it HURTS to use. I have been using an eyelash curler for many years and this is the worst one ever. I'm afraid I will blind myself using it!! DO NOT BUY IT!!!
