I really liked this, the secret to not staining is use a base coat (I us another brand and it is a milky white, fast dry one), I then applied 2 thin coats of Salon effects and finished with a coat of Insta Dry (as my topcoat and also to add extra protection and shine). Nails (fingers and toes!) lasted 2 weeks although at day 12 I did notice a little bit of crazing on my nails which is the only negative I found. I have worn nail polish for decades (toes never without) and have never had problems with discolouration unless I forget my base coat!

I have always liked Sally Hansen products. When they came out with the Complete Salon Manicure I was anxious to try it. I have always had a hard time keeping polish on my fingernails. The new brush is awesome and the polish covered well. I bought several bottles. Then I took it off... It ruined my nails. They were brittle and discolored! VERY DISAPPOINTED & I would love to get my money back for the bottles I bought. Why did this product do this to my nails? Keep the brush style Sally Hansen. Ditch the Complete Salon Manicure line!!!!!

I also bought "Mudslide", and loved everything about it until I took it off. My nails are stained an embarrassing and unpleasant nicotine-yellow. I will have to paint another color on my nails to hide it. It makes me nervous about trying it or another color again. It's very disappointing. Furthermore, it makes me nervous to think what horrible substance must be in the polish to make it do that.

The colors are great, and I love the larger brush. This nail polish however, is not even close to a salon manicure. It chipped not five hours after I had it on, and within three days, every nail was chipped at least 1/4 of the way from the tip to the cuticle.

I love Sally Hansen products, the Hard as Wraps is my favorite product. However, I won't be buying Salon Manicure again, there's no sense in spending $7 to have to put on a top coat for protection when I can spend $2 and do the same work.

I bought no 150 Angel Wings & without removing the chipped coat kept applying it believing that being Sally H complete Salon Manicure it would strengthen my nails underneath, After a month of continuous applications I decided to remove it but to my horror my nails look as if I have soaked them in JIK for a month and they are brittle and dry, why is this so?

Tried this product thinking it would be stunning being a Sally Hansen...and it went on like a dream and looked stunning - until I took it off! My nails are stained a horrible yellowy pink!! Isn't that the whole point of including the base coat in the product, to avoid this! i admit I love bright colour so it was the Right Said Red that I used which probably exacerbated the problem!

Loooove it! Bought Comander in Chic and Gray by Gray and I love both of the colors! I did have to put on 3 coats in order for none of the nail to show through, but the color lasted for about a week, so I was pretty happy :) I love the fact it has so many things built into it, and I did not have any issues with staining of my nails when I took the color off. Will buy more colors! Great product!

I am pretty happy w/ this polish so far. I like a sheer, neutral color most of the time, but I like it to look almost opaque, and most of those colors go on so sheer and streaky that it's a real chore and next to impossible to get the look I want. I bought "Nude Now" and after my first coat I thought, "oh great, here we go again!" But the first coat, though sheer, was completely streak-free, so I went for the second coat. Wow! I was very pleasantly surprised when it went on just as smoothly, and and with the exact amount of "coverage" that I wanted! I usually have trouble w/ thicker brushes, but this one was actually very easy to use. Not to mention that I painted on my 2nd coat 3 minutes ago, and during that time I've eaten a hot dog, mixed a drink, and been typing. (Albeit gingerly!) And still no "dents" or smudges! Even if this polish chips after a couple of days, I will remain a fan!

I brought the Black Platinum color and I absolutely love it, I also brought the Antique Gold crackle to use over it and I love, love, love it! I love the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure nail polish! I love the brush and I love how the nail polish goes on and I just could go on and on and on about how great I love this nail polish. I plan I buying a few more colors, PLEASE do not discontinue this nail polish line, it's the best!

I bought my first bottle of Complete Salon Manicure about two months ago and I've acquired three more since! I love the wide flat brush, it really helps keep the polish streak free by limiting the number of strokes required to cover the nail. It also slows down the drip of polish from the plastic tube on to the brush, making it much easier to get the exact amount of polish you want on the brush!

My nails are notoriously brittle and begin to splinter at anything past my fingertip but after exclusively using this polish on my nails for the last two months they seem much sturdier and are the longest they've ever been.

Two coats = perfection! I've purchased All Fired Up, Commander In Chic, Navy Baby and Plum Luck and I haven't had any problems with the polish being too sheer and none of them streak. They all dry fairly quickly and none of them have that weird gooieness before setting. I did learn, however, not to shake the bottles. Air bubbles seem to be particularly problematic with this polish when palpitated (shaken - sorry, the alliteration was irresistible!) I hate having to roll the bottle between my palms to mix it up but the end result is hard to beat. So I guess it's not really a complaint as much as a tip!

None of the colors have stained my nails or turned them yellow after having the polish on for at least a week and I do not use a base coat. I do, however, buff and shine my nails prior to applying polish and perhaps that creates enough of a barrier. When spring rolls around I might try some of the paler shades but I have faith those formulas are just as awesome!

I love the rubber ring on the brush handle, I never realized how much I actually gripped brushes until I didn't have to grip this one. Awesome attention to detail SH!

I can't think of a single reason why someone wouldn't like this polish! Looking forward to expanding my collection and seeing new shades! (Psst... silvery olive and golden taupe!)

I absolutely love this product. It's hard at first to get used to the thinner consistency, but once I tried it I don't want any other nail polish. I wore the Back to the Fucshia for a week with NO CHIPS! My only complaints are that some of the colors are a little too sheer, and there needs to be a larger selection of colors, but other than that I'm using this nail polish any time I do my nails from now on.

I bought this in Gray by Gray and Commander in Chic. I put the Commander in Chic on about three or four days ago and absolutely love the way it looks. My mom did the same color but the difference was she didn't put a base coat on and I did. I prefer not putting on any polish without a base on principle. She took hers off today and it was hard to get the tint off the nail, so it is needed. But I only needed two coats, not six or seven like anyone else here. I really recommend this to someone who likes the way manicures at salons look because I've never been able to get my nails looking like this at home.

I bought it in Pat on the Black. I love the color (in fact it's probably my favorite!) and it looks gorgeous when it's done, but it definitely took an extra coat. It takes some effort to take off but that's pretty typical of any dark polish I've used. I didn't really have any issues with chipping like other people have mentioned and while there are faster drying polishes, I don't think it took all that long to dry.

I own Kook-A-Mango and Yellow Kitty and both are awesome colors for summer. This nail polish goes on well (the yellow seems to require three coats to get it to look its best), it wears longer than any of my other polishes (yellow made it through a week of camping and golf before even needing a touchup). It does not discolor my nails and I don't use a basecoat. Best of all it dries much quicker than any of the other "fast-dry" nail polishes from other manufacturers...I can put it on within a half hour of going to bed and when I wake up it doesn't have all those hairline "dents" and impressions of cloth from sheets, pajamas, etc. My only complaint is I can't find a wide range of colors anywhere I usually go...was hoping to get Grass Slipper or Calypso Blue next.

I purchased the Complete Salon Manicure polish in Barracuda (light Tiffany's blue) Strike a Pose (cream with violet iridescence) and Paparazzi (golden pearl). The polish is in no way an all-in-one, as the blue polish did leave a tint on my nail after applying it without a base coat, but I do appreciate that the polish has strengtheners, etc. As other comments have mentioned, the two coat recommendation, does not seem to be sufficient. It took three coats for Papparazzi, four coats for Strike a Pose, and SIX coats for Barracuda. That being said, I don't mind a sheer polish as the coats often dry faster than a thicker polish. To be sure, the Complete Salon Manicure polish costs as much as OPI, Essie, and China Glaze, but doesn't deliver the same quality in actual polish as I have never had to apply as many coats of any other brand of polish, including other polishes by Sally Hansen. However, I do recommend this polish because once you get the polish fully applied and set, the colors are really stunning. Barracuda was much more impressive than the summer-favorite, Absolutely Shore, by Essie and lasted five days without chipping, something I never get from an Essie polish. The two opalescent creams were simply better pigmented than creams or pearls offered by other leading brands.

I bought Shrimply Devine to use on my mom and me. Loved the color, but then within HOURS it started chipping. My mom took it off within 12 hours of putting it on because of all the chips and we were just laying around the house doing nothing and it just came right off. Don't buy!! Never using again!

I have tried quite a few polishes in my time, and I have to say that this product is one of the best. I do not understand the negative reviews. I really like the design of the brush, which makes for easy, all over coating. You put one coat on wait to dry, which is pretty quick compared to most. Then add your final coat, which turns out to be a smooth even finish. Keep up the great work. I will definitely be buying more colors.

Streaky, streaky...it takes three coats to get streaks out and then it's too thick and takes forever to dry. VERY DISAPPOINTED in this product particularly since it was one of the most expensive polishes. OPI is less expensive and a much better product. Very displeased becuase I've always enjoyed SH products. Save your money ladies!

A week later the nail polish started to chip therefore i had removed the nail polish and after i removed the polish i had noticed that the tips of my nails had yellow still on them. I, like Rjslatcher above, have been using Sally Hansen for many years with great success and satisfaction. However, this product is EXTREMELY disappointing, especially for the price. I purchased it in "I Pink I Can" for $8.99+tax at a CVS. My nails were clean and dry, had not been polished in a week or so. I found the brush somewhat inconvenient to use, not sure why they just didn't stick with a regular brush...if it ain't broke, why fix it? But I could have dealt with that if the product lived up to even a little bit of its hype. I was SOOOO unimpressed by this product. I applied one coat and it was very thin and streaky. I applied a second coat, thinking this would go over and fix the problem, but it really made things worse. I didn't even bother to try a third time, I just took it off. The end result was NOT even close to a salon manicure. I honestly would have been better off either buying some Wet 'N Wild for $2, just getting a $12 manicure or sticking witha Sally Hansen product that I had used before, like Diamond Strength or Hard As Nails. But this product was not for me. I would stick to a product you know and like...I would highly recommend against this product.

I bought this a few days ago and was extremely impressed. The brush alone makes a huge difference in how easy it is to apply. The main difference I would say is that this nail polish did not bubble like pretty much every other nail polish I have ever used. I will definitely be purchasing a few more colors.

I have been using Sally Hansen products for many years (am 73) and was very disappointed with Complete Salon Manicure. Never had a problem before. It was very thick and first coat left streaks. I figured second coat would even color out but it only made it worse. Had to remove color immediately. Gave it a second try next day and nothing improved. The idea of the product is to eliminate base coat, top coat, etc. so why are some reviewers using them in addition to this product? Did not keep my receipt because I never had to return any Sally Hansen product before and, therefore, could not return it to Walgreens. It was a higher priced item but would have been worth it if it had performed as advertised. As a senior, it's hard to throw away money which is what I feel happened. Would NOT recommend this product and it's the polish that's the problem and not the brush!

pghgrl lady to let you know sally hanson has other nail polishes with a different brush and formula maybe you should try the Xtream the brush is small and its alittle more runny (i have some) but no need to trash this one becuase 'the brush is too wide' maybe your nail is too small becuase it works perfect fo me and honestly i love the brush! and the formula well if its too 'thick' then dont do two coats, i personally LOVE this cllection. and want every color! and CMW lady have you ever heard of a Bottom coat?

I used the Sally Hansen Double Duty Base & Top Coat for a base and top coat with two coats of complete manicure. My manicures last a full week now and the color stays beautiful and shiny. I will never use anything else, ever! It dries quickly too.

I purchased #360 Plums the word, loved the color.It only lasted a few days and when we removed it turned my daughters & my nails YELLOW. It was horrible, lasted 3 weeks. Went to Salon and got a manicure. Anyone who saw my nails said" Oh, you must have used Sally Hansen polish". I have used other Sally Hansen polishes and did not have this problem. Will not spend the $ again to have my nails turn yellow.

I tried this over the weekend... I do not like the brush applicator and the polish seemed to be thick. It did not go on smoothly and 2 coats were not enough. Also once it was dry it was dull. I had to put a clear top coat on to make is shine. THIS NEEDS IMPROVEMENT.

Let me start by saying WOW! im one of those girls who will paint her nails, then ten minutes later take it off because i either dont like it, it takes too long to dry, or its so thin i need to put mutiple coats on which then means it takes longer to dry... and as a mother of a very active 1 1/2 year old, i dont have time to wait for my nails to dry! i absolutely love love love this nail polish! the brush itselff is cool, and it looked a little thin at first but as soon as i put the brush to my nail, it came out amazing! i put two coats on not more than ten minutes ago and my nails are completely dry! it even passes, what i call the "dent" test, when i press the tip of my nail on the top of another and it doesnt leave a mark! i would 100% recomend this product! i bought number 550 All Fired Up, ive been looking for a nice red, and this one is perfect for summer! its red, but kinda looks a little orange! love this color! only problem is.... i like it so much that i want to paint my toe nails the same color but inorder to do that i need to attempt to take my polish off my toes first without messing up my hands!

I bought this product because the color was so beautiful! And it's such a great idea to put all the steps in one bottle. Unfortunately... it turned my nails a bright shade of yellow! A base coat is supposed to prevent some of the dye from the polish to transfer into the nails, but this base coat didn't. I'm extremely disappointed! I rarely ever wear color on my nails, and now I have to wear polish for weeks until the yellow grows out. Just be careful, and to be safe I would add a base coat underneath.

I absolutely love this nail polish. I use witchcraft to help strengthen my nails and then I apply Salon Manicure Colour overtop and then another nail strengthening Top Coat. I don't experience chipping and my nails are kept healthy and strong. I will never revert back to an alternate polish. This line of Sally Hansen duplicates and exceeds OPI's polish. The only thing Im upset about is that they discontinued "Tutti Frutti"...... :(...... my FAVOURITE colour!

PS; if you apply the nail polish on properly you do NOT get streaking. Thin coats of polish helps.... I find anyways! :o)

This is the best nail polish ever!!! Even better than OPI... My nails were constantly breaking or chipping or peeling, but once I started using the complete salon manicure polish, they have become stronger, longer, and healthier. I bought 3 bottles -- Sheer Me Now, Commander In Chic, and Pedal To The Metal. I started with Sheer Me Now. It streaks even when applied thinly; forget the second coat -- that looked hideous. Next day I give Commander In Chic a try. Just as ugly. My daughter tried them and remarked how awful they were. I saved the third bottle to pass along to a friend. Hope she'll still be speaking to me after trying. We'll save these two to paint my 3 yo granddaughter's toe nails with -- at least somebody will be happy here! Truly awful!

I've tried probably dozens of clear coats and have never found one that works like the Complete Salon Manicure. I can use any nail polish, and as long as I cover it with this clear coat, it lasts for at least 5 days. I had been doing my nails almost every 2-3 days and constantly touching them up in between. But, now I can polish them and not worry for days! I've since tried 2 colored polishes and love them so much I won't ever buy any other kind of nail polish again! Thank you sooo much Sally Hansen!!!

Will you ever launch the colors from the 2011 Spring shows from Tracy Reese and Prabal Gurung? I'm dying for Barracuda! I have looked at so many different brands to find that light robin's egg blue, and cannot find it. I'd also kill to see "Wicked Bamboo", let alone buy it!
