Mark off the moon area by painting a curved line in Slate-r Girl
Get the Look: Empowerment
Q&A with Madeline Poole.
SH - How did you get inspired by the theme to create this look?
MP - I was inspired to do these "suit nails" by the multitude of colorful power suits I’ve been seeing!
SH - How is the topic of this theme relevant to you?
MP - I actually love the idea of color in the workplace and as a source of power and confidence. These looks remind me of the monochrome outfits you see in sci fi books, and comics and movies. The way you dress can often make you feel pulled together and I love the idea of matching your nails to an outfit that makes you feel empowered.
SH - A moment in your life when you celebrated this theme (e.g. for travel where do you like to travel for inspiration, for empowerment, who is your role model/inspiration, for achievement, what’s been the greatest nail success, for food your favorite restaurant or cuisine just now, and for friends how you and your friends like to get together and spend time).
MP - I think it’s exciting that in fashion their are more daring colorful moments without being outlandish. A colorful suit and a matching nail are a pulled together monochrome look and can make you feel confident, and not silly.
