For best results use will full range of Sally Hansen Gel Polish products.

Shake Bottle Vigorously Apply a thin coat (be sure to completely polish free edge of nail prior to curing)

Insert hand into LED light (4 fingers of each hand at a time, then thumb) and cure for 30 seconds
4
Apply a 2nd thin coat and cure for additional 30 seconds (2nd coat will provide optimal, even color coverage)

I enjoyed using this product. It is a good alternative to spending 55+ at the salon on a gel set but is'nt as durable in comparison. Compared to the usual coats of polish this gel polish lasts longer as says the box; so you are getting what you pay for.

REALLY love it...but....

I really do love this product. I love how quick it is and how nice the end result is. BUT....
It is EXTREMELY frustrating to go to the store, look at the (small) selection of colors available, and finally decide on one only to find out it is NOTHING like what the box shows it is!
This is not cheap stuff. I can understand this coming from say a $2 bottle of regular nail polish NOT a $10 bottle of gel polish.
Lady Luster appears to be a full bodied iridescent color on the package, but it turned out to be a clear coat with sparkles (a look I think should be reserved for preteens).
I will totally recommend this product, but be cautious when buying colors and save your receipts.

Good Product. Disappointed with Color Selection

I bought this gel nail set after hearing rave reviews from a co-worker. It is an overall good product. The instructions are easy to follow. The product goes on well although Step 2 (color) seemed really thick and chunky almost. It was trickier to apply the step 2 color than the step 1 or 3. The curing stage is fast and easy. The final product looks very nice. I'm an eager to see if it does indeed last 2 weeks as advertised. One thing I am disappointed about with this product thus far is the color selection - in particular a black paint color. I LOVE wearing black on my nails. When I saw that there was a color named "Pat On The Black" I assumed it was a true Black. After applying the first coat I was disappointed to realize it was burgundy. Because I enjoy the neutralness and chicness of black nails and the realization that there isn't a true BLACK step 2 I am almost reluctant to continue using the product now after the first use. I see they have a sparkly dark grey, but I am not into a sparkle polish.

It takes some time to make it look like professional. I found out it looks much better if you put 3 layers instead recommended two It last longer too.
Only thing upsets me is that the colors on the box doesn't really match real ones, like even in this page,,,,I have wine me not and it doesn't look even close what they show her.

This is BREAK THROUGH for me. I've never been able to grow my own nails.

I was watching this product for a while...walking by it in the store, asking friends if they've tried it, reading online reviews and watching 'how-to' videos. No one had any answers for me because no one I knew had tried it. So after a few months, I treated myself and bought the starter kit.
Since I watched the videos and read how to apply the gel manicure already I was ready to dive right in. The application was fairly easy.
However, I was pretty disappointed that the color which was beautifully advertised on the box cover was not even close to the one inside the box.
With that aside, I'm pretty happy with the overall results. My gel manicure is super shiny and protects my nails like nothing else can. Doesn't last 2 weeks for me though. Only about 5-7 days. I'll take it.

Good Gel Polish

I purchased the color "Back to the Fuchsia" and I really like it. It's bright and seems durable enough.
I have to be honest, I don't actually use Sally Hansen's Gel Polish Kit. I purchased a different brand starter kit and loved it so much that I thought I'd just try Sally's polish with this kit.
This particular color is bright, vivid and wasn't too difficult to apply (it was a bit on the thicker side).
I also used a different brand bottom/top coat because the brand I purchased is both a top and bottom coat in one, I didn't have to spend extra to buy both a top and bottom coat.
I would definitely purchase other Sally Hansen Gel Polish colors even though the line is, at this time, a bit limited in it's range of colors.

This looks great on, I will definitely be buying it again. I think the gel cured very well and didn’t chip for two weeks. I love the color, especially for spring.

If you can't get to your nearest nail tech for a gel.manicure and polish, this Sally Hansen gel polish is pretty doable. Easy streak free application and is very durable one cured.

I found this product okey. I had a hard time getting it to harden and I experienced it having sticky residue. This was not the right product for me. With that said, all Sally Hansen polishes are high quality and very resonably priced.

Chips very easily

As someone who has eczema, I tend to scratch a lot and this immediately starts lifting and chipping. To be fair, most gel polishes don’t work for me. The colors are pretty though .

Salon looking nails

Very easy and fast way to have salon looking nails. For less of the price of a salon visit. I love how glittery ny nails looked. The nails lasted at least A week before they startedto chip off.

Found this gel polish to be a little on the thicker side which is great if you struggle painting your nails due to shakiness! (Like me!) love the color, may end up getting a more pinky color as those suit my complexion better!

Great application, but weird color change

It’s a lovely color, it goes on well, and I love how it looks on my nails, but it tends to lose its purple color and turn to a blueish color after a few days. I’m not really sure why it does this (maybe user error), but because of the weird color change I don’t use it as often as I would

I just used this after buying on sale and I have to say I'm unexpectedly impressed! Seemed to work pretty well, my only complaints are
(1) I wish there were more colors. My kit came in Shell we dance and I found it pretty sheer. I'm hoping they come out with an opaque white, and a nice dark red.
(2) After I finished, my nails still feel kind of sticky/ slimy. I washed my hands, and the polish doesn't seem to be rubbing off exactly, but it almost doesn't feel fully dry. I'm not sure what that's about??
Looking forward to more colors coming out and hopefully figuring out how to fully cure!

Great quality, color was not accurate..

Product was easy to apply, no issues with consistency or having to apply multiple coats, however I wish I had checked the color before purchasing. The box shows a pretty pink yet it applies as an old yellow-ish white color on nails..not cute. Next time I will pick a different shade and check!

I like this nail polish better than other polishes- however it is definitely not a gel. It lasts slightly longer than regular polish, but it chips after a few days. I have yet to find a drugstore “gel” polish that actually lasts

Note to anyone looking for black...."pat me on the black" should be called "pat me on the plum". This is not a black, I was very disappointed in the colour of this particular one. Also they need more colours to choose from. They need to have an actual black, some more pinks and reds.
Otherwise love the product. I find it damages my nails a bit but it definitely stays perfect for at least two weeks without maintenance. Great for vacation, put it on and go. Stays shiny and doesn't chip.
