Salon Effects® Perfect Manicure™

Out of all of the samples I received, this red one was my favorite design. They were easy to apply and left no mess. I would only use these sometimes if I dont feel like going to to the nail spa. But I still prefer regular manicures at the spa compared to a press on!

The material, the shape of the nails and the color were perfect. It was easy to apply and they looked pretty! But they come off after a day or two maybe. I loved them but only to use them for a special occasion like parties, meetings, etc.

These are super cute, and I love the almond shape! However, I can never get them to last as long as the box states. They seem to pop off within a day or two, even after following the application instructions closely. They are great for a last minute mani for a night out, but not for long term wear. But when they’re less than $8, I am okay with them not lasting forever.

I don’t know how long these would last, but I wore them for a bachelorette party weekend. They were perfect! Easy application and removal + fun colors. I liked the nail shapes options, and they fit well.

Loved the variety of shapes, designs, and colors. The instructions were pretty easy to follow and I was able to find nails to fit each finger. They are a bit flimsy and didnt last as long as expected, but a good quick fix option if you need your nails done in a pinch!

I was trying them before hand and I think they are beautiful long almond nails. Absolutely love the shape and they have different sizes for each fingernail. They are easy too use and look great!

I received 4 sets of nails from Influenster and Sally Hansen free of charge in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion. The set I chose to test out is ‘Block Party’ (SQ031) which is a multicoloured, short, square set consisting of pink, yellow, blue, and orange nails–each with a tip of another nail’s colour. As someone who’s a beginner to press on and glue on nails, I assumed this set would be the easiest to test out first. Choosing a nail for each finger was a bit difficult for me because I wanted the different colours of the nails to fall into a pattern, as well as the fact that I have very thin and small fingers but the set doesn’t really have enough of the smaller sizes to accommodate me. That being said, there are 24 nails of various sizes in each set, so I believe once you purchase a shape that works well with your hand/finger shape and size, you won’t have trouble fitting a nail to each finger. Using this set, I realized square nails don’t look very good on my hands/fingers because of the contrast in size, but holding nails from the other sets(almond, coffin, and oval shapes) to my fingers looks much better. When applying the nails, I decided to use the adhesive strips as I have never glued on nails before, but I have used other press on nails that come with the adhesive strips already attached to them. This may be why I accidentally applied them slightly incorrectly by attaching them to the nails first, and then putting the nail with attached adhesive strip onto my nail. The packaging instructs you to apply the adhesive strip to your nail first, and then apply the nail after. Even so, the nails did last 4-5 days with minimal lifting at the base of my nails and taking into account that they got wet regularly when washing my hands and showering. (They also survived a day at an amusement park ! 🎢🎡) They did, however feel wet or soggy between the nails and my nails for a short time after getting wet and they weren’t easy to dry off. This could be due to how I applied them in the incorrect order and hopefully they won’t be soggy or lifting at the base as early if I apply them correctly in the future. Overall, I’m really happy with these nails as you get such an array of choices; not only with the colour of the nails, but the shape—being able to choose between almond, coffin, oval, and square—and application method as well—the set including both adhesive strips for all the nails and a tube of nail glue as well. The sets are also a great price for everything they include, ranging from $7.48-$9.99 USD depending on where you purchase them. Plus the packaging has a really unique and well designed feature where you can slide your fingers behind a small plastic window that is showcasing 5 of the nails to see what they would look like on your hands ! I thought that was a genius design feature and I hope they keep it for a long time to come. I intend to purchase these sets in the future for special occasions or when I don’t want to use nail polish or I want to have an intricate design that is hard to achieve with nail polish. I also recommend them to anyone who wants to use them for the same reasons as myself, or those who exclusively use fake nails and want them for a great price.

I received this product for free from Influenster and Sally Hansen in exchange for my honest opinion. I am typically someone who gets my nails done with dip powder. I was excited to try this product to give my nails a break. I think they are excellent for a last minute, clean, polished, manicured look - for instance, going to an event or a wedding, no need to travel with nail polish or remover. There’s no mess and no drying time. I also like how the kit gives an option of double-sided adhesive versus nail glue. I used the double-sided adhesive which lasted longer than I thought it would. Three nails fell off after approximately three days, but I just reapplied them with a new adhesive (the kit comes with plenty of extras). Since then, my nails have been going strong for over a week. They are definitely not the most sturdy nails, I would not recommend doing any kind of work that involves manipulating or leveraging items with nails (such as peeling, yardwork, etc). You can feel the nail lift. That being said, it is also great to be able to have a manicure for a fraction of the cost and the time. It only takes about five minutes to put on all of your nails. I would recommend filing them down to make them last longer since longer nails will put additional strain on the adhesive. All in all, a great solution for a quick manicure!

During lockdown I started using the dip nail systems at home and haven't been back to the nail salons since. However it can take a while to complete a set. With these press ons, it only took about 10-15 minutes and was completely ready to go at that point. Downside, they didn't have a size small enough for my pinkies, too many big ones that were wasted. And more of the middle to small sizes would be great. I do really like the variety of shapes, lengths, and colors you can get. I wasnt impressed to the last of the tabs but with standard nail glue they held up decently.

I received these from influenster and I actually loved them. I work with my hands and need to have my nails always beautiful. These sally Hansen are great quality and look gorgeous, they lasted for almost a week and the adhesive was strong. I will definitely have these in my kit in case I have to work on camera and can’t manage to go to a salon before work.

Not your mom's old flimsy press ons!!! These are thick and sturdy. While I still prefer acrylics these are a decent substitute. Decently priced.

I gave the nails four stars because sizing was uneven. I used the tabs and they lasted three days, which included carrying luggage and lots of handwashing. They had a a nice shine and the almond shape was done well. Application was easy as well as removal. It didn't damage my nail plate allowing to put on another set soon after. Reusable is a plus as I can use glue next time to test longevity.

It was a fun experience to try these press on nails they actually do look decent. My favorite were the red almonds shape. I appreciate that the adhesive comes with the kit and it is fairly easy to put on. 

Easy to apply. The nails fit well. The set comes with with a good variety of sizes and the glue is included. The set lasted over a week. Easy removal with no damage to my natural nails

I absolutely loved these nails! They are super cute and the shape is great. They lasted well and I would definitely repurchase them another time.

This was my first time trying press on nails and they were easier to use. The only thing is my nails are a little smaller than the ones that are in the box. I would def use it again.

I enjoyed the Sally Hansen Salon Effects Perfect Manicure. I have a bad habit of biting my nails, and having them done is usually a good way to prevent that habit. It can be hard to take the time to get to a salon for an appointment, and these nails are a great alternative. I really liked that the package came with both nail glue and adhesive tabs as I tend to prefer the tabs over glue. They held up great! The one thing I didn’t enjoy as much with this product is the nails were pretty long. That’s more of a personal reference, as again I bite my nails and I’m used to them being quite short. The package did include a nail file but it was kind of small and I wasn’t positive it would hold up if I chose to file down the nails on all 10 fingers. Overall, I was very impressed with the Sally Hansen Salon Effects Perfect Manicure!

I used the red color and the block party (multi colored shown in pics). A few of may nails seemed to be in between sizes. I like that the included a sticker type backing or glue. Has a hard time using stickers once I had the started the process Lasted a few days before I pooped off. Did not damage my natural nail

The packaging is simple and small but packs a punch with product. There’s nearly enough o get a couple uses out of the sizes in here. I really like that the package came with both mail glue and glue strips. The strips are a little thick especially when you’re used to just nail glue. Overall I was very impressed with the durability of these! They lasted and held up great to the abuse I put them through. I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase them again. They’re a great option on the go for a quick spruce up of a look or even a consistent option to cut back costs for getting an actual set. I was super impressed with the style options. I’d love to see more natural looks with different style options, to be even more of a hit!

I received four sets of nails. The red ones and the dark blue ones were the most durable looking and feeling when wearing them. The sticker adhesive it comes with are a great addition because it doesn’t mess up your nails like the nail glue would. The reason i gave these a 4/5 was because of the other two sets that were super flimsy and feel like cheap plastic. I also wasn’t a fan of the colorful set and to me the nail sizes weren’t useable because they’re extremely wide even though i have wide nails. Overall i think this product is great for when you’re rushed but still want to look cute and put together with a set of nails.

I received these nails for free in exchange for my honest review. I am a novice when it comes to artificial nails but these are easy enough to apply. The stickers were not as effective as the glue but my actual challenge is that these are too large for my nail beds. My skill level at nails is not high enough to be able to precisely shape each one - if it was, I wouldn't need artificial nails - so if your hands are on the smaller side, you might experience a similar challenge. That said, there are so many shapes and colors to choose from and these are a quick way to change up your look without a major investment!

These were surprisingly very durable and looked liked I got them professionally done. I needed to do something to my nails last minute for an event and within 10 minutes I had a fresh set. To me it’s also in how you prep your real nails that will dictate how long these last, and for me they lasted a good 2 weeks before I got any lifting. I will definitely get these again next time I’m in a hurry to get my nails done!

I used this product when I was out of town for a long weekend, my work requires me to have short nails so normally I can’t wear press-ons, but I really miss the long acrylics I used to get! I loved the red apple color and the shape—not too long, not too short, and a classic sexy red color. The nails were pretty strong quality themselves and not too flimsy like other brands; I do wish they had more mid-sized nails because I had to file down some to fit my ring fingers. Sometimes if I’m only wearing press-ons for a night or two I will use the gel stickers (I actually really like these because they don’t last too long and aren’t messy or damaging to my natural nails so it’s not a hassle to remove them for work) but I used the glue in this situation. It was really messy to cut the glue cap open and I got nail glue all over the scissors from my air bnb, so I had to go out and buy acetone to remove the glue, which was kind of a pain in the butt. After the single application the glue was unusable because it all dried up. I will be buying these press-ons again because I’ve been looking for red almond-shaped nails (you think these would be easier to find…! They’re a classic!) but I wish the glue applicator was more modern, this is like what I would get at the dollar store when I was in high school! Will be buying separate glue in the future.

These were the nails I received. Different colors than what they said I received but regardless these dark blue ones are the only ones I’d wear shape and length wise. Which is why I gave it a 4 rating because I haven’t seen many I like color, shape and length wise. I also don’t put press on nails with the glue they come with anymore. The best way Iv learned to make them last is using gel glue with the curing lights. It works wonders and 100% makes good quality press on nails last. Just make sure your nails are properly pressed no matter how you wear press on nails that’s too makes a big different besides the quality. Would definitely buy sally Hansen press ons if I found some in a shape, length and color I liked!

This was my first time trying on the Salon Effects Perfect Manicure. Surprisingly, the nails were durable and lasted multiple days; not just how it stuck to my real nails but also the color and design too.

I wore these to an event and they looked great for the day, but like many press ons, they just didn't stand the test of time. Looked super cute and I LOVED all the different shades and colors we were sent. Very cute and will continue to use different ones for other events where I'd like to look extra cute and out together.

I tried these press ons. I loved the color selection. They need more designs options. They fit my nails pretty well. It came with the options of glue and sticky tabs. I usually glue for press ons. It was an easy application process. They lasted for a week and a half. I would recommend these press on nails.

These press on nails were easy to apply. The challenge I always have is I like my nails pretty short and even the “short” lengths are too long and I have to file.

The product quality is good. I had a little difficulty applying it with the adhesives. It was hard to apply the stickers onto the back of the nails. Then I tried to use the glue and it was a lot easier. I am not expert on using this kind of manicure....but i tell you it is a great option because the nail shapes are beatiful and you can change the style for an afordable price. Going to the nail salon is more expensive and time consuming. It is a great alternative for taking a break from the nail salon for a fraction of the price.

I appreciate the multiple shapes and colors. Because my cuticles are so oily, these hardly stay stuck for more than a couple of days. I agree with the others, use the back vs the glue. I have a little baby so the coffin nails were not an option for me to try, but I really liked the multi color nails for a fun summer look.
