I think this product works good and is very effective. It gets all your hairs gently and is good for sensitive skin. It’s also very affordable and has a lot in the jar. I would recommend to others but what sucks about it is that it dries up quickly in the jar and doesn’t work as good when you warm it up again. It’s more of a one time use wax.

I used to use this as a teenager. I’m not sure if it’s still the same formula, but I remember it working really well. You heat it up in the microwave & then use the tool to place it where you want. It hardens on it’s own & you just rip it off. I actually never used the tool, but instead I used a small paintbrush (think kids art supplies) to have better control over where it went. I had the nicest arched brows back then. It was definitely painful ripping it off, but I think all wax is painful. I actually think I might try to get my hands on this to see if it still works the same.

I like that it’s hard wax as it’s easy to pull off but when I microwave it it doesn’t always melt all of it there are chunks that always stay hard. But it works really well for my lip and eyebrows

I use this for my brows and have been using it for a few years now. It’s easy to use and I like the applicator it comes with. It removes all the hair quickly. My only issue is that I’ve never fully used one without it becoming too dried out and unusable

This is okay it cools down very quickly and takes longer to melt than what the box says. It does get the hair out and it is a good start.

I really like this stuff! I'm going to give 4 stars though because it does leave a residue. Other than this, it is pretty much pain-free. I've used this in the past and have repurchased this around 2-3 times. I like that it's so easy to use and easy to microwave but find after a few uses it gets a little harder to heat up all of the wax.

I have been using this for several years on the little dark wisps I started getting as I entered my 50's. It is the best. I am getting low so when I was at Alta yesterday I looked for it but they only had a microwaveable lavender kit. I thought it must be an improvement . I didn't see that it was the kind with strips and am not happy with this. It was actually harsher than this one I've been using. Yes, it takes longer to heat than it says and yes it dries hard and quickly, but once I got the hang of
it, is much better than having to use strips and I really like the cream they included for the small amount of discomfort after, not as much as with the kit today. It also came with a small plastic applicator that I can reuse and small tweezers I use for other things along with any stray hair I missed. I had read bad reviews. One said something about hating it and the strips which this doesn't have. Hmmm? So while I never write reviews, I felt I had to respond to the negative ones.

I bought this last night and this was my first time using wax, I usually use the cream but couldn't find it (and I was ok with buying the wax). The wax seemed to work pretty good for my first time use so that's a good thing to the product. The only problem I have (maybe it's only happened to me) is that the aftercare lotion makes my face where I apply it numb. But other than that the product works great!

The product was not bad at all. I barely felt a thing although the heating time is a bit longer then what it says on the back of the box. I usually only use this for my upper lip and with other types of wax I break out or maintains red longer than usual and this gets all of my hairs of nice and easy.

I can't agree with all of the bad reviews!

I didn't have high expectations for this product when I purchased, but it worked surprisingly well.The directions say to heat in the microwave for 2 minutes, but I needed to heat the wax for 3-4 minutes. I had a pool of wax soft enough to scoop up with the spatula (the entire jar didn't melt, but who needs that much for face?) It spread on easily. I spread it on thick because I wanted to have enough excess to grab when I peeled it off. I won't lie - it hurts to yank off, but the chunk of wax I pulled off had LOTS of hair on it. Gave 4 stars for the long microwave time and ouch factor, but overall a good product that doesn't cost a fortune.

I can't say how long I have been using this product it's been so long. I like how it works, the cost and how effective it is. The problem I have is that I have ruined 2 microwaves with it. I either have to heat on the stove top or I have to set the wax in a bowl of water about half to one inch deep to microwave it. It caused arcing and left places where the arcs hit blackened. The stove takes quite a bit of time, although not as much time with the new jar. I am taking off one star due to the problems I have microwaving it and because it makes me really nervous now when I use the microwave.

I have used this product for at least 3 years now. I will admit that it is a bit pricey. But it does the job, well, and lasts. When the wax is at the right consistency, there is hardly any mess left on your face. I am honestly shocked this product has such bad reviews. It does leave your skin sensitive and red, but only for a few hours. To he honest, I am very disappointed that this product is becoming harder and harder to find. I really do not want to have to switch brands.

I have thick eyebrows that needs taming on a regular basis so waxing comes in very handy. I have trouble finding wax products that work but this one has been the most effective for my thick brow hair. It does not get every single one it touches, but I don't think any wax does. I especially love the creme that comes with it though.

This product was good. It was not the best. But it understood the assignment. It was really easy to put on and take off. You just have to use multiple to really get the job done. Did not have a weird scent or anything.

Better products out there

The strips are very small and there isn’t enough surface area to cover properly especially when doing the eyebrows. The glue sticks on too much and lips get chapped or bruised often. I am not a fan of this product

This works for your face. It gets the job done of removing the hair. I use it almost once a week or every other week. My hair grows out thinner than before.

Wax Needs Placed Perfect

I was very excited to have a small jar to be able to warm for eyebrow waxing. It comes in a convenient size and pops right into the microwave. The problem is the consistency can spread a little more than expected and ended up with more hair gone than originally planned.

This is not a salon product or something as a professional esthetician k would use on a regular basis, with that being said i do feel that it’s effective for small areas and quick touch up’s but be warned the quality you get here will not be what you’re used to from the salon

I’ve used this only a few times, so I’m not an expert. I am probably not doing something right, but I can seem to get all of the hair at one time when doing upper lip. I also end up with pimples every time I do it. I’ve tried washing before and after, and using the cooling cream.

Messy but works

This product can get really messy. Like, you will need to sacrifice a towel to protect thre surface area wherever you are using it. And it needs to be microwaved way more than the instructions called for in every microwave that i used. Just follow the instructions for additional microwave time and do short bits until it's the right consistency.
This is the best home waxing product I've found that didn't require linen strips for pulling wax off. Or a big wax melter device. However, getting the wax to the right temperature is more an art than a science and the little plastic wax applicator in the kit is not as good as the wooden applicators used in traditional waxing.
But my favourite part of the kit is the after wax soothing oil. It is AMAZING! I will just randomly use it sometimes without waxing to condition my skin. Its makes my face feel super soft and smooth and if you leave it on over night the affects will last for days.
Writing this review reminded me that I've been meaning to find out if I can just buy the oil separately for daily use. And I'm off to research that right now.
