I use this if I really need my nails off before going to the salon next. It is crazy strong, so be prepared to open a window or put a fan on when using!

Gel polish remover

I actually use this with my gel polish and she just got to make sure you use it with lint free pad and you soak it on your nails with a wipe for a few seconds but it's soaked up that nail polish and wipes away easy

Works great. I wrap my fingers in foil or clips and witching 10mins the polish comes right off. Perfect.

I have used this product when removing gel nails. Great to use when you are removing gel polish. Easy to use. Not too strong in smell.

After filed the top coat, I use cotton and damp it can put it on top of my nails then let it soak for about 10 mins and start to see if the polish came off or not. Great product and saved my money to remove at the salon.

This is a bit of a process to do at home but it saves you more money then going to the salon and taking the nails off there I would recommend this for anyone taking gel or acrylic nails off

When I had acrylics on and needed to take them off fast. I used a bowl and poured some acetone remover in the bowl and let my nails soak for 30 mins or longer and literally then nail polish slid off first then it started to melt the acrylic away slowly dissolving it off.

Takes some patience but it works. Acetone is strong but also drying. Follow up with a good cut in me cream.

Tried to get salon gel polish off with this so I didn't have to go back to get it off for more money, and it worked.eventually. Took a lot of tries and a lot of filing down.

This works so well at taking off gel polish. The smell can be a bit strong so use in an open area. It works fast and only takes a few minutes. I plan on buying more when I finish my current bottle

It's your basic gel polish remover it have enough strength to actually remove the gel or regular polish off your nails..

The acetone itself works (kinda hard to not to given that it's a chemical). The bottle is what I have issues with. It's just not conducive to being picked up and getting it on a cotton pad/wipe when I have nail polish on my hands already. It has a small hole so you have to hold it there for a while to get enough acetone onto the pad.

Do not get the hype

I am not sure why I purchased this in place of regular nail polish remover. It takes too long to work. I waited 15 minutes and nothing happened. I waited another 15 and some small pieces came off.

No, I do not recommend this product.

good remover

This is a good polish remover to remove gel nail polish. In my opinion it smells very strong and almost makes me feel dizzy when I’m using it in the bathroom. It is affordable. It gets the job done just wish the odor was not so strong.

This gel polish remover was pretty nice. It works better and faster than normal nail polish remover but it is not the best one I have tried. The one main thing I really like about this product is that it doesn’t have a super strong scent to it unlike most removers.

This product I good for the price but that not pure acetone and take son long in quit the nail polish

This works pretty well. I don’t think it works any better than the cheaper pure acetone ones I have used. I probably wouldn’t repurchase simply because I don’t think it is specifically for gel removal.

This acetone remover felt like it was going to burn my nails off. The smell is strong and overpowering and my nails ended up feeling extremely dry. I will not buy this product again and I do not recommend it.

Gell polish remover

This gel remover did not work for me at all. I followed all instructions. I would compare the product to scraping the gel off myself using no product. Very disappointed

Hi! We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with our Sally Hansen Salon Gel Polish Acetone Remover. Thank you for giving this a try! If your nail polish just won’t budge when you try to take it off, soak a cotton pad in our nail polish remover, put it on your nail, and wrap a piece of foil around your finger to hold the cotton pad in place against your nail. Leave the foil wraps on your nails for a few minutes. Next, slide the foil off along with the cotton and your polish will come off with it, too. We hope this helps! If it's still not working as expected we encourage you to contact us with any questions. Please feel free to give us a call at 1-800-953-5080, or you can send us an email through the Contact Us page on our website. We will be more than happy to assist you further. 💅
