Melted nails

I bought these nails about a week ago. I use press on nails everyday, that being said this was my 1st set of Sally Hansen press in nails. Within 2 days of putting them on 2 of my nails melted almost to my skin. How'd this happen you may ask? Well I made grilled cheese n soup....all I did was flip the grilled cheese with a spatula and then my nails melted. I have photos if you would like them. Please work on heat resistance.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Poor Quality

I’ve used press-ons in the past (even as a licensed nail tech) and I’ve had great experiences. When I received these, I was thrilled! Unfortunately, this set did not make the cut. I put them on for a last minute job interview and sadly they did not last more than a couple of hours, hence my lack for a photo. They were super thin. If they had some kind of structure they may have worked, only for a short length. Overall, I did not like them at all.

Worst set of nails I've ever purchased.

Absolute garbage. Mismatched set of low quality nails. Only 1 #0, yet 3 #1's. Also, only 1 #3 as well. What a chaotic disaster. Flimsy sub-par nail quality. I wish I would've kept my receipt, these would've been returned the moment I realized they were mismatched and randomly chosen. Sally Hansen used to be a high quality brand, what happened?

No, I do not recommend this product.

Would not stay on.

These nails were short enough for me and my daughter to try. They would not stay on either of our fingers she tried tabs and I tried the glue. They popped off within 10 mins for her and as soon as I let go of mine. I held the nail until the glue was dry and my finger was numb from holding it. Wouldn't not stay on.

Did not like the shape or style of any of the sally Hansen salon effects perfect manicure nails I was sent! They were very old-school and so bold. They need to develop more on trend pastel/neutrals - especially for summer!

Poor quality!

I bought this earlier today and put a set on my daughter with the sticker adhesive and a set on me. They are so brittle, I have only had them on 2 hours and I have one that basically folded, another that broke at the end. I had to put multiple layers of the glue because the nails wouldn’t stick.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Not worth the effort!

These press on nails do not stay on well at all. Super disappointed. There are no finished pictures because they didn’t last more than a few minutes. Disclaimer I do have more oily nail beds. The glue bottles that were sent to me were completely empty/dried up so I only had the stickers. They do look pretty in the box though. The sizes were also too big for a nice fit for my hands but I have child sized hands so even the smallest sizes did not fit well. Overall I think for little girls (if there are smaller sizes!) they would be fun but not worth it for women.

Wayyy too long and cheap

I received these nails for free from Influenster for review. First and foremost, these nails are entirely too long for anyone to truly be able to wear them. Plus, considering how cheaply made they feel (they’re very bendy and thin), I don’t see these lasting long on your nails anyway. I would not purchase this product.

What are these lol

In the box? Beautiful! I only use press-ons (I use my own glue) so I’m not new to this. I opened the Hyp-nautical nails and was simply confused at how curved they were. But…Sally Hansen so they have to be good right? I glued them on and I look like I have blue duck beaks on my fingers. These look so bad I just keep laughing. lol No ones nail is shaped like this! I’m hoping they miraculously flatten out.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Cute in the box, painful on my hand!

I received these in the mail and was excited to try them out. They're super cute and not something i would typically get for myself. They looked really nice in the box but when i pulled them out, i noticed they were pretty thin and flimsy. The nails seemed not finished for lack of a better way to describe it. The edges didn't seem finished, like they needed to sand the edges down so they wouldn't slice someone! Nevertheless i tried them on. I guess my nailbeds were too flat because these hurt my nails! They didn't last a day because they were just not feeling comfortable on my fingers. After i peeled them off, my nails were sensitive for a while afterward, probably because i yanked them off. All in all, i wouldn't try them again but if you had the correct nail shape, i could see how it would be a quick and convenient way to have a quick manicure at home!

Ummm 😳 are these kid's nails!?

In my VoxBox I received several styles and colors of Sally Hansen Salon Effects-Perfect Manicure. I decided to try out HYP-NAUTICAL (Blue), because I'm obsessed with Coffin shaped nails. Ok, let's start out with packaging, Sally Hansen did an adorable job by giving you a cute little cardboard box with a window showing off 5 of the actual nails, but the genius part is you can actually stick your real nail under them to see how it looks without having to open up anything. I think that's awesome so you can almost "try them on" in the store. Inside the box is a plastic container that held the initial 5 display nails with a little compartment next to it that held the remaining 19 nails. Underneath the nails is where all goodies were stored; a skinny plastic tube of nail glue, adhesive tabs, prep pad, nail file and a wooden cuticle stick. Basically everything you need to do an absolutely perfect lil manicure all in one tiny little box! The glue was your basic run of the mill super glue- no complaints. Same goes for the nail file, cuticle stick and prep pad. The adhesive nail tabs were a little iffy...I wouldn't trust them to hold my nails on for the day. Okay now the moment we've all been waiting for...THE NAILS! They looked gorgeous in the packaging, very vibrant and shiny with a beautiful flawless Coffin shape. The problem is when you take them out of the packaging! They are soooo thin and flimsy, I honestly thought I was holding kids play nails! BUT I was trying to be optimistic, maybe them being so thin would make them look and feel more natural. NO! They looked incredibly cheap when I put them to my nail bed!! Unfortunately, I could not put them on! Now I don't have huge hands or enormous nail beds nor are my nails freakishly flat by any means and I could not get these to flatten out on my nails.  They are RIDICULOUSLY CURVED, so much that I actually ripped one within 2 seconds of trying to see if it was the right size.  I mean I applied the tiniest bit of pressure to try and get it to go over my whole nail bed and it TORE! That's how thin they are, it actually tore! I am an avid nail user and I've never had that happen to me before. I actually started laughing because I was like... WHAT IN THE....😳 DID THAT JUST HAPPEN!? Unfortunately this review stops here as I could not get any of the 4 packages of nails to work with me. They were all too thin or waaay too curved to fit my nails...I'm super curious to know who these work for because I called my sister to ask if she wanted to try them and she had already tried them and had the exact same unfortunate experience. So sorry guys...I hate that I don't know if these look nice on or if they even last long. I hope this review is somewhat helpful to someone. Honestly, I was so excited to try these as I've always had good experiences with Sally Hansen nail products, but these were just one big disappointment....I'm super sad! Included inside each box is 24 nails, 1 tube of nail glue (0.06 oz), 24 adhesive tabs, 1 nail prep pad, 1 nail file (2 inch) and 1 wooden cuticle stick. The nails retail for $7.49 USD at Target and  $7.48 USD at Walmart and Amazon.

Sadly, the worst fake nails ive ever used.

I am pretty disappointed in this product and as a frequent user of glue on nails, I have to say these are simply a waste. The nails themselves are a weird plastic that is super curved, making them difficult to apply to flatter nails. I chose the Block Party design that I was sent and noticed after applying a few that the tips weren't even on any of the nails - some had a thicker French tip design than others. Once applied, I had to reapply several bc they popped right off. I used a different glue the 2nd time and that worked better, but only for about a day or 2 on most nails. There's a little piece at the tip of each nail that sticks out and needs to be filed and when I did that, I noticed the color is all just 1 layer of paint, it doesn't go thru the entire plastic piece like some nails do. So, when I filed, the white began to show and kind of messed up the whole design. The worst part of all is how fake these feel. I feel like I'm wearing fake nails from a kids set or something. I like how other acrylic based brands feel and how they feel natural. these are sadly not it.

Not for Me

I have been given this product for free in exchange for my honest review. I tried “Ozone you Didn’t” color in Oval shape. The color is absolutely stunning! The package comes with a wide variety of nail sizes and they are easy to apply with the adhesive. I didn’t try the glue. Unfortunately, they just didn’t work for my larger, flatter nailbeds. Although there are a lot of different sizes, they all have a significant curve to the artificial nail and this made it hard to fit my nail. I sized up but then they were too long and looked too big. They also felt like they were pinching my fingers. After applying them to my left hand I knew they weren’t going to work so I removed them. They came off easily. Didn’t have them on long enough to comment. on their durability.

Doesn’t last

I used to be an avid press on user. I wasn’t particularly interested in any of the sets that were sent to me so I opted to try the red pair. I do like how it gives you the option is using the glue or the sticky pads. Let’s be honest, the sticky pads leaves a gap between the press on and your nail that your hair gets stuck in if you run your hand through your hair so I automatically chucked those and opted for the glue. The glue was hard to use. You have to cut a lot off the top to be able to actually squeeze any glue out. The bottle itself is hard to squeeze. Sally Hanson could do better, she’s been a popular name in the game for years. Press one are just a little to thin for my liking. They feel cheap and when you wear a long pair like these they have more of a chance to pop off. I was not impressed to say the least

Pretty, but not great

I’ll start with the glue. I had such a difficult time trying to use the nail glue. It either wouldn’t come out from the top unless I jabbed it with a tac or it wouldn’t come out because I can’t squeeze the tube due to it being so hard. I’m NOT a fan of that glue, at all. With the nails, I chose the multicolored, square shaped ones because it’s what my son wanted me to put on. They were comfortable, but not very pretty. I love rainbow and the color variety, but they’re dull and boring. The sizes aren’t a big enough variety either. Not to mention, on one of the thumb nails, it had a spot of color where it shouldn’t be and it just looked bad. The nails also felt very flimsy and cheap. I wouldn’t buy these. 1/10

It doesn't last long.

I tried this product and the instructions were easy. It is easy to install but also it didn't last for 30 minutes. If you press the nail to hard, they'll break. I think this is good for a night out on the town, just don't expect it to last for days.

Cracked easily,

These nails looked nice at first but an hour after I had them on they started to crack. Didn’t pass the work test. I had to use the glue instead of just the stick one so they wouldn’t keep falling off.

I tried these out and took them off immediately. I think if you have the correct nail shape with will work, but everyone is different. The nails were either too big or small and after putting them on there were visible gaps.

Way too thin

I love the color and shape of these…but they are way too thin in the top and cracks way too easy. I put them on and was planning to take a picture but when I went to I noticed two of the had crack down the middle and one had cracked on the side. Very very disappointing. Thankfully I had applied them with the stickers and not the glue so I wasn’t absolutely stuck with cracked nails for days on end. I don’t recommend at all, and will stick to my current press ons.

Wayyyy too long

These nails, although cute, were wayyy too long even for me. I enjoy having long nails but these were just too long and there were no instructions on how to file down while still keeping the shape. I would definitely not recommend for a beginner and will probably not use this style. Maybe I will try some of the shorter versions but these were definitely the cutest to me and unfortunately just did not work

The Worst Experience

I had the absolute worst experience trying to get these on. It was impossible to squeeze the glue out of the bottle, barely anything came out. So I opened the twist cap on the other end and it pour out. All over the nails I already managed to apply, all over my hands, and my bedspread. Ruined my quilt. Had to put so much acetone on my skin to get the glue off. Just a disaster. Really disappointed.

Not comfortable and shape is not as expected

I received these nails for free in exchange for my honest review. I loved the red apple color of these nails and I also love an almond shape. I was excited to see the use of adhesive pads was an option as I don’t want to use glue on my nails. The adhesive pads were very tricky to apply to the nail because they are so sticky and it was hard to remove the plastic off them when it came time to stick on the nail because they are that sticky. I know it’s great to be super sticky so the nails last but you have to be able to easily apply without issues or it’s not worth it. The top plastic cover actually tore in half which made it even harder to remove. These pads actually hurt my nails. I started to feel a light ache as soon as they were on, I’m not sure if it’s because of how strong the adhesion was but it was definitely uncomfortable. The almond shape is actually curved and pointed down which is just not feasible. I could easily scratch myself or my one year old. They’re almost like claws. Not at all what I expect from a typical classy almond shape. I had to remove these because they are just not realistic for every day wear (or any wear). I won’t be trying any other colors included because of how uncomfortable the adhesion pads were. I would not recommend these unless you’re used to using them and they don’t hurt your natural nail beds.

Not for me

I was excited to try these I liked that it came with a bunch of different sized nails, but there wasn’t a lot of variety in size and some weren’t a great match. They didn’t last very long one popped off when I was breading a chicken cutlet.. not a huge fan of these as they prevented me from performing. Regular tasks
